TEI was hired as Altea Active’s national agency of record to pilot their overall marketing and PR for both their Winnipeg and Toronto clubs. TEI worked with Altea Active to open their state-of-the-art, 89,000 sq ft social wellness club in Liberty Village– doing everything from strategy, grand opening PR, events, messaging, advertising, influencer campaigns, social media management and more.

Our goal was to educate the Toronto community on a 3rd space– a hybrid that combines wellness, fitness, and social connection. We wanted to tell a story that created excitement, hype, and effectively drove membership sales months before the clubs doors were open.

The grand opening was an overwhelming success. Together, Altea Active and TEI surpassed projected membership sales and maintained sales numbers in Winnipeg during COVID-19, which was a very difficult time for gym memberships world wide.
